How our 8-Week DBT Group Can Help You Manage Emotions and Find Balance

When emotions feel too big to manage and stress starts taking over your daily life, it’s easy to feel stuck or overwhelmed. You may find yourself reacting in ways you don’t want to—or withdrawing altogether. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to face these challenges without support.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based therapeutic approach that has helped many people reduce emotional suffering and create more stability in their lives. This June, I’m launching an 8-week DBT group for adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in how they cope, relate, and thrive.

What Is DBT and Who Is This Group For?

DBT combines elements of cognitive behavioral therapy with mindfulness and interpersonal skill-building. It’s especially helpful for people who:

  • Struggle with mood swings, anger, anxiety, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed
  • Have difficulty navigating relationships or expressing needs
  • Find themselves reacting impulsively or shutting down under stress
  • Want to develop more emotional balance and inner calm

This group is open to adults 18+ who are ready to learn practical tools and be part of a compassionate, structured environment.

What You’ll Learn

Each week, we’ll explore one of DBT’s core pillars:

  • Mindfulness

Learning to slow down, focus on the present, and respond instead of react

  • Emotion Regulation

Understanding your feelings and managing them effectively

  • Distress Tolerance

Building healthy coping tools to get through crisis moments

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness

Communicating clearly, setting boundaries, and maintaining relationships

Sessions include education, discussion, and gentle group activities—always at your pace, always in a supportive space.

  • Start Date : Monday, June 2 at 10:00 AM

How Therapy Helps

Therapy isn’t just about talking—it’s about learning and growing. In this group, you’ll gain insight into your patterns, understand what fuels emotional overwhelm, and build tools that you can use for the rest of your life. You’ll also benefit from the support and validation of others who are navigating similar experiences.

This isn’t just a class—it’s a step toward healing.

Ready to Begin?

If you’re ready to feel more in control, more connected, and more empowered, I invite you to join us. Sign up today and I’ll reach out to help you get started.
